What we should do less of, is taxing the poor. Yes, I referred to all of these cuts as "taxing the poor!" The people who need to be taxed more, are the rich.

If you do not consider the cutting of programs that help the poor as a tax on the poor, consider this: When you take services away from a group of individuals who already are unable to make ends meet, you are increasing the economic pressure on them to make up the difference. Raising taxes does not always come in the form of .25% sales tax increases. Tax increases also come in the form of forcing individuals to decide which is more important for the family in the winter, food or heat.

I recommend that any person who is interested in the direction our Nation is headed take a Political Science course at the college. Also, I recommend that individuals broaden their understanding of language, and how it is applied Linguistically.

There are statements within statements. The purpose for such linguistiic manipulation is for the user to lead an individual to believe that one thing is being stated when in fact another thing is being stated.

For instance, "No Child Left Behind." Of course, most individuals do not desire that any child be 'left behind.' But the Law itself has little to do with solving the problem of children being left behind, and more to do with political fluff with a fancy name intended to rally unsuspecting individuals to support a Law that serves no purpose but to capture the emotive thinker - to appeal to the masses.

Hopefully our Nation will not cut education any further, but it seems clearer with each passing day the Republicans are showing their true colors in being not-interested in American children getting a proper, and competative education, and Democrats lack the spine to fight for policies that will actually solve a growing problem here in the richest Nation on Earth, the average Americans inability, and it seems lack of desire to engage in intellectual discourse personally, as well as socially.

Let's face the facts here people, the education issues that 99% of the population are confronted with are not the same issues that the 1% of population who's in control of our Nation, and in control of what cuts occur, and how deep. Most of 'those' people send their children to private schools. Most of 'those' people are raising children who will have access to economic power.

The 'eternal pessimist',

Maybe someday some christians and Americans will see that marriage is a emotional commitment and a legal contract and get over this "gay" thinga. It often takes a long time for people to grow up and wake up! If there is a higher Power, supposedly, this power has given humans free will. That means that choices are between you and this Power.

How many people enjoyed Pippa's endowments? 186K? How many were men. I think you left out an important stat here.

Actually, given the economy I think a better read would have been how much that wedding cost. I suspect the commoners of the UK can bearly keep food on the table; while the monarchy spends like there is no tomorrow. Ever wonder where all that money comes from?

I dated a woman in my late teens who had a brother-in-law that did everything to talk, look, drink, and pop pills like Elvis.

He wasn't as successful as Elvis though...he worked at McDonald's as an assistant manager making 1,400 bucks a month making sure your order was properly bagged, and the service was swift.

"...In addition, every applicant cannot have any felonies or excessive misdemeanors both in the United States and in their countries of origin."

What I think is interesting about the inclusion of the statement in the Bill that the applicant cannot have "felonies, or excessive misdemeanors" has an implication attributed it. Let's face the facts. The Republicans, Conservatives, whatever you like to call them, or they prefer to call themselves, have been asserting that most of the individuals who cross the border illegally are felons, or come to the states and commit felony acts.

These children are not committing any crime when crossing the border with their parents. The parents are committing a crime. It is a criminal act to cross the border from Mexico to the United States without going through the process established for immigration.

What I am stating here is that the children should not be held accountable legally, nor denied education, healthcare, or any other opportunity while they are residing in the U.S. As far as I am concerned a child who is in the U.S. illegally, should be treated the same as any other child born in America, but not be given (short of the process of Naturalization) citizenship.
